The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood Publisher/Year: May 5th 2016 Macmillan Children's Source/Format: e-arc | NetGalley (Thanks NetGalley/Macmillan!) Rating: 4/5

I also loved the family element - the household and the bookshop and her relationship with her dad and grandad just sounded wonderful. Such a cute, whimsical book.

I am so sorry for the unannounced hiatus! It was obviously not planned, but I wasn't sure if I could keep up with the blog and my school work this year, it being my final GCSE year. However, I realised that I miss blogging a lot. So, even though I may not post as regularly as I used to, I will try and stay on top of my reviews - here are some mini ones!

Reawakened by Colleen Houck Publisher/Year: August 13th 2015 Hodder Source/Format: Paperback | bookbridgr (Thanks bookbridgr/Hodder!) Rating: 3 stars out of 5

The story itself was interesting, but the romance annoyed me - I understand that obviously Amon isn't going to act like every other YA male main character, but I felt like he didn't have enough substance. The same could be said for Lilliana too. Also, I hated what Houck tried to do with the whole "everybody wants Lilli…
