Top Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I Still Need To Watch

Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Book To Movie Adaptations I Still Need To Watch.

1. Eragon

This film came out almost 10 years ago, which is a LONG time, and even though I haven't read the series I'm still surprised that I've never gotten round to watching it.

2. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

This film is a good couple of years old but I have only just read the first 2 books in this series. As of writing this, I have just managed to find the DVD for 70p so of course I picked it up!

3. The Book Thief

Everyone raved about this film when it came out 2 years ago, and from the trailer it looks absolutely beautiful, but it completely passed me by.

4. Beautiful Creatures

I'm quite ashamed that I haven't watched this yet, as I've read the book and even my mum and dad have watched it!

5. The Scorch Trials

I actually quite enjoyed The Maze Runner when I watched it, albeit mainly because of Dylan O'Brien, so I don't know why I haven't chosen to watch the sequel yet.

6. The Giver

This book is quite old in terms of YA lit, and the film was good according to my dad.

7. The Martian

I read this book very recently so that I could go to the cinema and watch it, but that just hasn't happened.

8. The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

To me, this feels like such a classic book series and film, but one that I haven't ventured into yet.

9. Insurgent

This was a huge blockbuster, and considering the fact that I quite enjoyed Divergent, I don't know why I haven't watched it.

10. The Lovely Bones

I really like Saoirse Ronan as an actress, and this was her big start, so I hope to get to it soon.
