Book title/ Author: WitheringTights by Louise Rennison Publisher/ Year: July 8th 2011 HarperTeen Genre: YA Contemporary Series: Misadventures of Tallulah Casey #1 Pages: 351 Rating: 3 stars out of 5

*This review may contain spoilers!*
Synopsis
Hilarious new series from the Queen of Teen- laugh your tights off at the (VERY) amateur dramatic antics of Tallulah and her bonkers mates. Boys, snogging and bad acting guaranteed!
My review
Tallulah Casey is your average teenager: lack of experience with boys, feels like she doesn't fit in, and is just trying to figure everything out. So when she gets the chance to go to Dother Hall, a place where she thinks she'll finally fit in, she leaps at the chance.
Withering Tights is set in Yorkshire and there are certainly a lot of stereotypes about the North but also just Britain in general. Normally I would be a bit offended but seeing as it is coming from a British author, I actually really don't mind.

Top Ten Authors I Own the Most Books From

Image
Hi everyone! Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Authors I Own the Most Books From.

1. Richelle Mead: 10 books
I own the most books from Richelle Mead, and that's not a surprise to me! I have read the complete Vampire Academy series, and they were so good. I am in love with her writing style, so I just breeze through her books.
2. Matsuri Hino: 10 books
This is the only author on this list that doesn't write general fiction. If you didn't know, Matsuri Hino is a manga author, and I absolutely adore her series Vampire Knight. Even though I own 10 of her books, I am nowhere near finishing the series!
3. Cassandra Clare: 9 books
Cassandra comes as a close second (as #1 and 2 are joint), but I actually expected her to be first. Both me and my mum are massive fans of hers, and have all the books in both The Mortal Instruments series and The Infernal Devices trilogy.
4. Rachel Caine: 8 books
I have been reading …

Top Ten Favourite TV Shows

Image
Hi everyone! Welcome to my first ever Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is Top Ten Favourite TV Shows/Movies.

1.Pretty Little Liars

I love this show because each girl is unique and has such different personalities, which is part of what makes the show so interesting.

2. Teen Wolf

Dylan O'Brien. That is all.

3. Suits
I have no idea  why, but I absolutely adore lawyer TV shows, and I think Suits is the best of them. The bromance between Harvey and Mike is so cute, and they are just hilarious together.

4. Sherlock

I am a huge fan of Martin Freeman, and have been ever since I saw The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, so when I heard he was cast in the new version of Sherlock Holmes, I immediately checked it out. Also, the tales of Sherlock Holmes are a classic, and although I haven't read the books, I do really enjoy the story.

5. Friends
Friends is just a classic, and I bet that each of us has watched at least one episode in their…
